Skewen RFC enjoyed their first Touch Tournament which happened once a week through out June 2015 and also the Finals day on July 4th 2015. There were 8 teams in total with 100 people taking part over June and July with some not even having touched a rugby ball. All ages (16+), Ability and Sex were encouraged to participate, with the main concept of promoting the club with the underpinning principle of FUN! The event finished with an American themed (July 4th) finals day and eventual Overall winners were Grasshoppers (Cup). Also all teams enjoyed some free hospitality including a Barbecue, Beers and Prizes. Skewen RFC will be at request doing another event at the similar times in 2016 where the club will aim to improve and become bigger and even better from 2015 event!
