Skewen started well when after 5 mins, following a clear break by Flanker Dai Morgan, Skewen were awarded a penalty converted by Anthony Busselli. Skewen 3 Glynneath 0

Skewen stretched their lead after 15 mins when a penalty on the halfway saw a kick to touch well within the Glynneath 22. A clean take and drive saw a try by flanker Harry Davies converted by Anthony Busselli. Skewen 10 Glynneath 0

Glynneath managed to cut the lead with a penalty and on the cusp of half time , following a series of phases and good defence by Skewen , a gap was made for a Glynneath try.

Glynneath opened the second half with a successful penalty. Skewen 10 Glynneath 11.

They further stretched their lead when a penalty led to a lineout in the Skewen 22, the subsequent driving maul saw an unconverted Glynneath try. Skewen 10 Glynneath 16.

This was quickly followed by two further penalties on 23^rd and 27^th minute stretching the Glynneath lead. Skewen 10 Glynneath 22

Glynneath again took advantage of some poor tackling when from the kick off they took the ball up field, and some good inter-passing  saw  a converted  try in the corner Skewen 10 Glynneath 29

Skewen somewhat redeemed themselves when on the 38^th minute winger Jordan Adderly  scored a try converted by Anthony Busselli.

Final Score Skewen 17 Glynneath 29.

Game where small margins make all the difference. A series of penalties against Skewen saw Glynneath take the momentum away from Skewen. Over all a general improvement in territory and performance however still failing to turn this pressure into points and a win.
