Glynneath managed to cut the lead with a penalty and on the cusp of half time , following a series of phases and good defence by Skewen , a gap was made for a Glynneath try.

They further stretched their lead when a penalty led to a lineout in the Skewen 22, the subsequent driving maul saw an unconverted Glynneath try. Skewen 10 Glynneath 16.

Glynneath again took advantage of some poor tackling when from the kick off they took the ball up field, and some good inter-passing saw a converted try in the corner Skewen 10 Glynneath 29
Skewen somewhat redeemed themselves when on the 38th minute winger Jordan Adderly scored a try converted by Anthony Busselli.

Game where small margins make all the difference. A series of penalties against Skewen saw Glynneath take the momentum away from Skewen. Over all a general improvement in territory and performance however still failing to turn this pressure into points and a win.
