Founded in 1883, Skewen Rugby Football Club has a proud history at the heart of Welsh rugby. Based at Tennant Park, Skewen, we are a community club with deep local roots, welcoming players, supporters, and families of all ages.

The club currently competes in the WRU Admiral National League Division 1 West Central, where we continue to test ourselves against some of the strongest clubs in the region.

In recent years, Skewen RFC has enjoyed time in the Championship and many successful years in Div 1 West Central, as well as many exciting cup runs. This reflects the hard work of players, coaches, and volunteers on and off the pitch. Alongside senior rugby, the club has a thriving youth and mini rugby section, ensuring the next generation of players are given every opportunity to enjoy and develop within the game. In recent times we have also started two touch rugby teams for the summer months, we boast both a mens team, The Barbarians, and a ladies team, The Valkyries.
